The "Pricelists" setting. The "Discounts, Loyalty & Gift Card" option. The "Automatic Invoicing" setting.

2. What is the main difference between a "Next Order Coupon" and a standard "Coupon"?

A Next Order Coupon is sent to a customer for them to use on a future transaction with the business. A standard Coupon can only be used by employees, not by customers. Next Order Coupons are only valid for digital products.

3. How can you configure a promotion to give the customer their cheapest item for free?

By setting the reward type to "Free Shipping" and adding a weight limit. By setting a 100% discount and choosing "Cheapest Product" in the "On" field of the rewards tab. By deleting the product line manually once the sales order is confirmed.
