1. What is the difference between a commission plan based on "Achievements" versus one based on "Targets"?

Achievements pay a flat percentage of the salesperson's invoices, while Targets pay based on the percentage of a set goal reached. Achievements are only for managers, and Targets are only for junior sales staff. Achievements pay in loyalty points, whereas Targets pay in a fixed salary.

2. In the "Achievements" tab, what does the "Rate Percentage" (e.g., set to 100%) represent?

The percentage of the salesperson's salary that will be paid as a bonus. The portion of the invoice dollar amount that counts toward the commission target. The probability that the customer will actually pay the invoice on time.

3. What does the "Reset to Draft" button do after a commission plan has been approved?

It deletes all historical commission data and resets the sales team's targets to zero. It allows you to pause the calculation so you can edit the plan or add more salespeople. It automatically sends an email to the accounting team to cancel all pending payments.
