1. What is the first step required to use product variants in Odoo Sales?

Creating a website category for the different options. Enabling the "Variants" setting in Configuration > Settings and saving. Adding a secondary photo to the main product template.

2. What is the difference between an "Attribute" and a "Value" in Odoo?

An Attribute is a category (like Material), and a Value is a specific option (like Cotton). Attributes are for physical products, and Values are for services. Values are the extra costs, and Attributes are the names of the products.

3. What does the "Extra Price" field on an attribute value do?

It adds a hidden fee that only the accountant can see. It adds a specific amount to the product's base price when that variant is selected. It automatically calculates the shipping cost for that specific material.
