1. What is the difference between a "Fixed Price" and a "Based on Rules" delivery provider in Odoo?

Fixed Price charges a flat fee for any shipment, while Based on Rules allows you to set costs based on variables like weight or quantity. Fixed Price is only for local deliveries, and Based on Rules is for international shipping. Fixed Price is automatically calculated by FedEx, while Based on Rules is manual.

2. Why is the sequence or order of the rules important when setting up a rule-based delivery method?

Because Odoo will only apply the rule that is at the very bottom of the list. Because Odoo checks and applies the rules starting from the top; if the first rule doesn't match, it moves to the next one. Because the rules must be in alphabetical order for the database to recognize them.
