1. What is the main difference between the 'Administrator' and 'User' access rights in Odoo Inventory?

The 'User' can change global warehouse configurations, while the 'Administrator' can only scan barcodes. The 'Administrator' can access critical configurations and reporting, while the 'User' focuses on daily operations like stock moves and transfers. Only the 'User' is allowed to use the mobile barcode application on the warehouse floor.

2. Why is it important to remove unnecessary administrator rights from an employee's profile in Odoo?

To reduce the risk of accidental changes to sensitive settings and ensure employees only see the apps they need for their specific job. Because Odoo charges an extra monthly fee for every application that is visible on the dashboard. It is a requirement for the barcode scanner to function properly with the database.

3. What happens to the Odoo dashboard when an employee's access rights are restricted to only a few applications?

All apps remain visible, but the employee gets an "Access Denied" message if they click on them. The dashboard changes color to indicate that the user has limited permissions. Apps that the employee does not have permission to access simply do not appear on their main menu.
