1. How can you automate the process of sending physical bills to Odoo for digitization?

By taking a photo of each bill and manually uploading it to the Odoo chat. By setting up an email alias in the Documents app and configuring your scanner to send documents directly to that email. By mailing the original physical bills to Odoo's headquarters in Belgium.

2. What happens if you scan multiple bills in a single PDF file?

Odoo forces you to delete the file and scan each page one by one. Odoo creates one single massive bill containing the information of all the different vendors. You can use the "Scissors" icon to split the PDF into separate documents before creating the vendor bills.

3. What does Odoo do if the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) misses a specific field on a bill?

It blocks the user from ever receiving another bill from that specific vendor. It automatically calculates a random number to fill in the missing space. You can fill it manually, and the system will "learn" the correct information for the next time.
